Why work with me?
For more than 20 years, I have worked in one of the most intense environments imaginable: Accident & Emergency, the frontline of medicine.
Day after day, I have led resuscitation teams, made life-changing decisions in seconds, and taught advanced life support to doctors and nurses who rely on clarity under pressure. In that world, presence isn’t optional; it’s survival. Empathy isn’t a soft skill; it’s the difference between connection and collapse. Awareness isn’t a luxury; it’s how you save lives.
Those years shaped me. They taught me how to stay grounded in chaos, how to truly listen beneath the surface, and how to support people through their most vulnerable moments. Somewhere along the way, I discovered something that changed everything: the gift of empathic listening.
Not just hearing people, but understanding them.
Not just advising, but guiding.
Not just reacting, but holding space for transformation.
Now, my journey didn’t end in medicine.
I became the owner of five businesses over the years, and suddenly I was living the same pressures my clients face today: the long hours, the risks, the mistakes, the loneliness, and the constant feeling that you should be doing more. I learned the hard way how easily a business can consume you if you don’t protect your wellbeing, your relationships, and your sense of self. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial world, not from theory, but from lived reality.
And then there’s my family, the heart of everything I do.
I’ve spent 26 beautiful years with my wife, Dr Alice, learning what strong relationships truly require: communication, patience, honesty, and the willingness to grow together. Raising our two children, now 11 and 19, has taught me more about emotional intelligence, boundaries, and unconditional support than any textbook ever could. These experiences have shaped my passion for helping families thrive, not just function.
Alongside all of this, I’ve committed to continuous, methodical training in coaching—refining my skills, deepening my understanding of human behaviour, and learning how to guide people through meaningful, lasting change. My approach blends science, psychology, lived experience, and genuine human connection.
Today, my coaching is the result of everything I’ve lived:
-
the intensity of emergency medicine,
-
the challenges of entrepreneurship,
-
the depth of long-term relationships,
-
the lessons of fatherhood, and
-
the discipline of ongoing professional development.
I help people because I’ve been where they are: overwhelmed, stretched thin, carrying too much, and trying to hold everything together.
And I know what it takes to rebuild a life that feels strong, aligned, and truly yours.
This is the work I’m here to do.
This is the work I’d love to do with you.
Yours truly,
Dr. George
